TJA Health's plaque-identifying toothpaste reduced plaque more effectively than a standard toothpaste in a study published in the International Journal of Dentistry and Oral Science.

Image courtesy of Plaque HD.In a clinical trial, University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry researchers found that participants who used Plaque HD reduced plaque four times more than a conventional toothpaste (Int J Dentistry Oral Sci, January 13, 2016).
The toothpaste uses teal agents to color plaque buildup on teeth. In the study, the researchers found participants who used the product reduced plaque by 51%, while users who used a standard toothpaste reduced plaque by 8.3%.
