Medilinq adds dental to its healthcare benefits

For some patients, getting that crown or root canal means saving up for a year. The good news for them--and you--is that Medilinq, a health benefits provider that offers savings of up to 40 percent on medical and dental care, has formed a partnership with DenteMax, an independent dental PPO network.

Medilinq members pay a monthly premium and get preferred out-of-pocket rates on prescription drugs, traditional healthcare services, and nontraditional healthcare services. Medilinq isn't an insurance company and doesn't cover medical expenses; it simply offers a lower cost on them. With this new partnership, members can choose from DenteMax's network (which covers every state in the Union except Alaska and Wyoming) of over 78,000 dentist access points serving 4.5 million members.

"By adding DenteMax to our partner mix, Medilinq members now have access to dental care at savings of up to 40%," said Rick Doub, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Medilinq, in a press release.

"Our network of dentists undergoes a rigorous credentialing review every three years in order to remain in the DenteMax network, ensuring high-quality service to Medilinq members," said Melissa Wagner, vice president of sales and service marketing for DenteMax in the same release.

Medilinq serves small/medium-size businesses and uninsured or partially insured consumers.
