MEA|NEA launches HIPAA-compliant cloud storage solution

SAN ANTONIO - MEA|NEA (National Electronic Attachment) has launched its new HIPAA-compliant document and data storage solution, FastVaults, at the ADA 2014 annual meeting.

FastVaults provides practices alternative cloud storage for secure storage of patient health data and administrative documents that are exchangeable and accessible from any device.

FastVaults helps practices protect sensitive documents and other information while making the data accessible from any device by assigned users, according to the company. Practices can share files with referring providers, payors, and even patients via secure links shared by email. Users can set expiration time frames for these links to limit accessibility of data.

"Paper files are only as secure as the locks on an office's doors. What really sets FastVaults apart from other services is that we specialize solely in healthcare data security and understand the depth of protection required of the data within records," stated Lindy Benton, CEO of MEA|NEA, in a press release.

FastVaults is available for use beginning November 3, 2014. Current FastAttach clients can sign up now for their free FastVaults account at www.nea-fast.com/vault. Visit MEA|NEA booth No. 564 at the ADA conference to learn more.
