Henry Schein, like most big corporations, have to please their shareholders (hedge funds and alike). Consequently, corporate culture in general tend emphasize on the next quarter's earnings. Ceos and salespeople usually get fired if the results are not up to par. Ironically, I had excellent repore with my Henry Schein rep prior to the financial crisis of '09. He quit his sales job and became a pastor instead as his take home pay plummeted after the onset of financial crisis..Follow the money, as I said countless times. If Walmart and other "prefer" providers start purchasing their dental supplies from Henry Schein, I will definitely look into buying their stock. If not Henry Schein, I suspect other large corporation should take its place. As I told recent graduates many times in the past : Healthcare is big business. Many Players, big and small alike, feel obligated to put their hands in the cookie jar as well. Oh Great times are ahead for investors !! I wonder what the future, AKA Obamacare, has installed for all of us. |
