Case #393: 32-year-old woman with mandibular pain, bleeding from parotid gland
A 32-year-old woman presents to the emergency room because of mild to moderate pain over the left temporomandibular joint. The pain started as very mild about six months ago. But in the last six to eight weeks, the pain and discomfort have increased and are constant. Upon intraoral examination, patient has bleeding from the parotid gland duct.

Case #389: 60-year-old woman with increasing TMJ pain

Initially, the pain was only very mild while eating, but recently in the last six to eight weeks, the pain and discomfort are present all the time, independent of eating or moving the jaw.
