Ore. dental school names new dean

The Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Dentistry has selected Phillip Marucha, DMD, PhD, to be its new dean.

Dr. Marucha is expected to join OHSU in September. Former Dean Emeritus Jack W. Clinton, DMD, retired in 2012.

Dr. Marucha is the ninth dean in the dental school's 114-year history. He currently serves as associate dean for research and director of graduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
