BioHorizons, an oral reconstructive device company, has launched the MinerOss X line of xenograft products for dental implant site development procedures.
The MinerOss X line includes cancellous or cortical particulate, a moldable collagen block, and a cancellous particulate preloaded into a delivery syringe to assist with optimal placement. It is designed for extraction sockets, grafting for implant placement, ridge augmentation, and sinus augmentation.
MinerOss X particulates range in size from 250 to 1,000 microns, providing excellent handling characteristics for a wide variety of regeneration procedures, according to the company. MinerOss X particulate is available in easily accessible vials of 0.25 g, 0.5 g, 1.0 g, and 2.0 g with screw-top lids. The MinerOss X syringe is available in 0.25-cc, 0.5-cc, and 1.0-cc sizes for added convenience during surgery. MinerOss X collagen is also available in three sizes to support large and small grafting cases.
