The University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry has named Scott De Rossi, DMD, as its new dean.
Dr. De Rossi, who succeeds Jane Weintraub, DDS, was previously the chair of the oral health and diagnostic sciences department at the Augusta University Dental College of Georgia, according to UNC. His appointment takes effect January 15, 2017.
