Essex Dental to cover ViziLite Plus screenings

Essex Dental Benefits is now covering ViziLite Plus with TBlue, Zila's screening device for the early detection of oral cancer, according to the company.

"Wellness screenings, such as oral cancer examinations, have been shown to help improve health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs," Ziad Rubaie, executive vice president of Essex Dental Benefits, stated in a press release. "We added oral cancer screening to our dental plan design options because early detection is the key to fighting this disease."
