ADA launches new credentialing service

The ADA and the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) have launched a new credentialing service for all U.S. dentists.

The service allows dentists to enter professional and practice information one time in a protected digital platform. After dentists create and confirm their profile on the platform, they can allow participating dental plans to access their information.

The service can let users know if licenses or documentation are set to expire. Automatic reminders to review profile information also are sent every 120 days.
