ADA names new VP to Science Institute

The ADA has named Marcelo Araujo, DDS, PhD, as vice president of the association's Science Institute.

Dr. Araujo will focus on leading scientific and dental research projects, according to the ADA. He will also provide scientific guidance on current and emerging scientific issues, while collaborating with the ADA's chief science officer and serving as the liaison to ADA's Volpe Research Center.

The ADA also named James M. Lyznicki, MPH, as senior manager for the Council on Scientific Affairs.
