Neb. health center appoints new dental director

The Charles Drew Health Center (CDHC) in Omaha, NE, announced the appointment of Sachin Verma, DDS, as its new dental director and leader for expanding community and population-based dentistry for CDHC.

In his new role, Dr. Verma will be the clinical leader for oral health services and patient care-related activities and provide oversight in quality improvement, provider recruitment and retention, and service excellence initiatives, according to CDHC. He is also charged with developing collaborative efforts within the academic, professional, and dental community.

"I'm pleased to join the Charles Drew Health Center team. We have a tremendous opportunity to provide great patient-focused dental care to the Omaha community. I have worked very hard to further my knowledge in the field of dentistry with the goal of giving my patients high-quality treatment while striving for excellence," Dr. Verma stated in a release.

For 33 years, CDHC has provided affordable healthcare in metropolitan Omaha for individuals and families with limited or no health insurance coverage.
