Dominion Dental Services announced it will acquire DentaQuest Mid-Atlantic and DentaQuest Virginia.
Dominion is a dental insurance provider and administrator of dental and vision benefits with headquarters in Virginia. The deal will add more than 90,000 members throughout the mid-Atlantic region, according to the company.
"This acquisition strongly supports Dominion's strategy to be the leading benefits solution in our Mid-Atlantic market," Dominion President Mike Davis stated in a press release. "This arrangement is a strong addition to our existing commercial business and presents a great opportunity for our members, clients, brokers and providers."
The deal is expected to close December 31, 2015, pending regulatory approval.
