KaVo Kerr Group workers delivered scores of teaching dolls, coloring books, crayons, and other employee donations to the Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC, during the holiday season.
A number of fundraisers for the hospital were hosted by Pelton & Crane's Charlotte office in 2015. The hospital is largest children's hospital between Washington, DC, and Atlanta.
"When we researched the hospital, we learned that it was in need of not only monetary contributions, but donations in the form of dolls, coloring supplies, and volunteers," stated Amber Wallner, senior human resources generalist for Pelton & Crane, a member of KaVo Kerr Group, in a press release. "We liked the idea of being able to 'fundraise' for the hospital throughout the year in several different ways."
The company has supported the Charlotte Rescue Mission and its women's shelter, Dove's Nest. Team members raised money, served at the shelter, donated classroom supplies, and completed a food drive.
