AADR launches new fellowship for women researchers

The American Association for Dental Research (AADR) has announced the Anne D. Haffajee Fellowship, a newly endowed fellowship to support early-career women researchers.

The fellowship is named after Anne D. Haffajee, DDS, whose research focused on clinical and translational periodontology. The fellowship is open to AADR members who meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a dental degree, an equivalent advanced degree, or doctorate
  • Earned their latest professional degree within 10 years
  • Have shown a commitment to an oral biology research career
  • Hold an appointment at the postdoctoral, instructor, or assistant professor level at a research or academic institution

Applications must be received by October 13, 2016.
