ADA elects new officers, trustees

The ADA House of Delegates has elected several new officers and trustees during the recent ADA 2016 annual meeting in Denver, and the ADA's new president has taken office.

Gary Roberts, DDS, a general dentist in Shreveport, LA, was installed as president. Irene Marron-Tarrazzi, DMD, of Miami, FL, is now the first vice president, after serving as the second vice president this past year.

Joseph P. Crowley, DDS, of Cincinnati was elected president-elect, as previously reported. George Lewis Mitchell Jr., DMD, from Gadsden, AL, was elected second vice president.

Five new trustees also were chosen:

  • William Roy Thompson, DDS, from Murfreesboro, TN, will represent the 6th District.
  • Billie Sue Kyger, DDS, from Gallipolis, OH, will represent the 7th District.
  • Kenneth McDougall, DDS, from Jamestown, ND, will represent the 10th District.
  • Kirk Norbo, DMD, from Purcellville, VA, will represent the 16th District.
  • Cesar Sabates, DDS, from Coral Gables, FL, will represent the 17th District.
