IADR, AADR elect new VPs

The International and American Associations for Dental Research (IADR/AADR) have both elected new vice presidents.

Paula Moynihan, PhD, will serve as the next IADR vice president. She is currently a professor of nutrition and oral health at Newcastle University, U.K., as well the director of the Centre for Oral Health Research. Moynihan is also the president-elect of the IADR Geriatric Oral Research Group.

John Timothy Wright, DDS, will serve as the next AADR vice president. He is currently a professor and the director of strategic initiatives at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. Dr. Wright has held various AADR and IADR leadership roles since the 1980s, most recently as a member at large of the AADR Board of Directors.

Both Moynihan and Dr. Wright will begin their vice presidential terms after the IADR and AADR annual meetings, which will be take place from March 22-25, 2017, in San Francisco.
