Dentsply Sirona acquires gutta-percha firm

Dentsply Sirona has acquired Healthdent Technologies.

Healthdent is a gutta-percha material technologies company. It has been globally supplying Dentsply Sirona with gutta-percha master cones for the ProTaper Gold and WaveOne Gold file systems and also ProTaper Next and Trushape file systems in North America.

Healthdent's founder, Nathan Li, DDS, will continue as a consultant.

The transaction price was not disclosed.
