NFL great Emmitt Smith joins Cerec 30 lineup

Former NFL running back Emmitt Smith will speak to attendees during Sirona Dental System's Cerec 30th Anniversary Celebration (Cerec 30).

Smith played for the Dallas Cowboys in the 1990s and was part of the team that won three Super Bowl championships in a four-year span. He also holds the record for the most rushing yards in NFL history. He currently is president and CEO of Emmitt Smith Enterprises, an umbrella company of several organizations, including a philanthropic division.

At the event, Smith will talk about focusing on the determination and perseverance required to achieve success and overcome obstacles. He is replacing Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr., who needed to withdrawal from the event for personal reasons.

"Emmitt Smith has established himself as one of the most preeminent examples of a former great athlete turned equally great motivational speaker and entrepreneur," stated Michael Augins, president of Sirona Dental, in a press release. "It's a joy and honor to have him on hand to speak at our C30 event."

Cerec 30 will take place from September 17-19, 2015, in Las Vegas. Attendees will learn more about digital dentistry and have the opportunity to earn up to 18 continuing education credits. To learn more and register, visit www.cerec30th.com.
