Sunstar Americas has launched a new 4-oz. size of its GUM Paroex alcohol-free chlorhexidine oral rinse.
Paroex (chlorhexidine gluconate USP, 0.12%) previously was only available in a 16-oz bottle.
"Virtually every dental practice has some patients who may need to avoid alcohol, and many more who find that alcohol-containing rinses cause a burning sensation," stated Jim Doyle, Sunstar Americas vice president of sales and marketing, in a press release. "Paroex is the perfect choice for these patients."
