Oral Cancer Foundation announces fall events

The Oral Cancer Foundation (OCF) has announced its fall 2015 Walk for Awareness events.

Most OCF events include free oral cancer screenings and education about the early signs and symptoms of oral cancer. Participants are informed about the importance of early detection and need for annual screenings.

Below are three of the fall 2015 events:

  • The 5th Annual Oral Cancer Foundation Walk/Fun Run for Awareness -- Twin Cities, MN, will be held on Sunday, September 27.
  • The 9th Annual Oral Cancer Foundation Walk/Run for Awareness -- Boston, will be held on Sunday, October 4.
  • The 2nd Annual Oral Cancer Walk/Run for Awareness -- Southern California will be held on Saturday, October 10, at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, CA.

The money from walk events funds research and advocacy work.
