A North Carolina dentist has legally changed his last name to keep the title of his dental practice, according to a story from ABC11 in Raleigh, NC.
After an investigation, the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners ordered David Draper, DDS, to change the name of his Apex, NC, practice, Better Dental. However, instead of changing the practice name, Dr. Draper legally changed his name to Dr. David Better. Dr. Better got the idea when one of his case investigators said surnames are always fair game for businesses, according to the story.
