The two companies have entered into an agreement under which all CBCT scans sent to i-dontics will be read by board-certified or board-eligible dental radiologists at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine, according to Alan A. Winter, D.D.S., a co-founder of i-dontics

"AFP Imaging is offering an invaluable service to its NewTom customers," said Dr. Winter in a press release. "Many dentists recognize the benefit of having their initial CBCT scans interpreted by experts from Columbia’s School of Dental Medicine, who have years of experience working with CBCT images."

"Although it is clear that three-dimensional radiographs have now become the standard of care in dentistry, particularly for treatment planning for implants, orthodontics and oral surgery, clinicians face a learning curve," said Donald Rabinovitch, president and CEO of AFP in a press release. "Now, new NewTom 3D CBCT customers will receive expert help in interpreting images from a true leader in the field."

This offer is for new owners only.
