NuSmile acquires Avalon Biomed

NuSmile has acquired Avalon Biomed, a designer and manufacturer of advanced mineral trioxide aggregate products.

Avalon's products include NeoMTA Plus and Grey MTA Plus, which will continue to be marketed through Avalon Biomed's dental distributors and website, according to NuSmile.

Avalon's founder, Carolyn Primus, PhD, will join NuSmile and lead the company's bioceramic materials research.
