Aspen Dental to offer free care for veterans

More than 300 Aspen Dental branded practices in 31 states will offer free dental care to veterans on Saturday, June 27.

Participating dentists and other volunteers will provide free services including fillings, extractions, and basic denture repair. The initiative is part of the Healthy Mouth Movement, a campaign that delivers free dental care and oral health education to communities in need. This year the campaign is focusing on veterans.

"There is a serious and urgent need to improve access to oral healthcare across the U.S., and this holds true for our nation's veterans," Chedly Schatzie Vincent, DMD, director of clinical support and community giving, said in a press release. "Aspen Dental practices are seeking to bring attention to this issue and make a positive impact by opening their doors to give back to thousands of veterans in need across the country."
