Ultradent Products has released the Jiffy universal finishing system for high-strength ceramics.
The system allows adjustors and polishers to work interchangeably on porcelain, lithium disilicate, and zirconia, according to the company. There is no need to purchase multiple components with the kit (extra- or intraoral), and the system provides a smooth, high-gloss finish on ceramic restorations. Its universal application also takes away the need for multiple grinders and polishers.
The system features Ultradent's diamond grit, and it also has an autoclavable aluminum block.
