The Schein network of doctors in the U.S. will gain access to Grin's remote monitoring and remote consultation platform, which includes Grin App and Grin Scope. Grin App powers Grin Scope, which serves as an intraoral adapter, helping to retract a patient's cheeks to allow a full view of the mouth, the company said.

Both Grin App and Grin Scope are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Grin noted. The two products work in tandem to guide patients through performing a self-scan of their teeth for an orthodontist-ready video. A dentist then reviews the video and sends back a short video analysis with appropriate treatment options.
