Delta Dental of Tennessee has promoted Shanda Brown to the newly created position of chief diversity officer.
A longtime company executive, Brown most recently served as vice president of corporate and community engagement, where she oversaw provider relations, quality control, human resources, and the daily operations of Delta Dental's Smile180 Foundation philanthropic initiative, according to the company.
