Air Techniques is debuting its SensorX intraoral sensor and ScanX Duo Touch digital scanner at CDA Presents in San Francisco, which runs September 9-11.

The sensor is available in two sizes and features rounded corners for ease of placement with image quality and comfort in mind, the company said. Air Techniques also touted the sensor's cesium iodide complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) technology for transmitting high-resolution images, as well as being able to deliver diagnostics quickly.

The company also highlighted the new scanner's digitization of photostimulable phosphor (PSP) plates for all intraoral formats sizes 0 to 4, along with its touchscreen, interface, and dual slots for simultaneous scanning.
