Smile Brands President and CEO Steve Bilt is leading a team of executives and dentists on an eight-day trip to Paraguay to develop a model that will provide dental and hygiene care to isolated and low-income communities.
The group will visit Asuncion, Paraguay, this month through the Smiles for Everyone foundation, the company announced.
The team will run temporary dental clinics and nutrition centers for the community and participate in training and coaching sessions to gain insight into best practices in order to create a model that can be replicated in other areas.
Bilt is also serving as a dental assistant on the trip, joining dentists Drs. Roy Smith, Thomas Emeterio, Gordy Gonzalez, Eniko Alicea, and David Jones.
