Benco Dental has announced the winners of the 2016 Lucy Hobbs Project Awards.

Industry Icon award -- Col. Theresa S. Gonzales, Ret., DMD
Mentor award -- Susan Maples, DDS
Woman-to-Watch award -- Kadambari "Kady" Rawal, BDS
Innovator award -- Pamela Schmidt, DDS
Humanitarian award -- Mary Teddy Wray, DDS
The recipients will be honored during the project's fourth annual celebration, held June 2-3 in Dallas.
The Lucy Hobbs Project is a national program based on three pillars: networking, innovating, and giving back. Named after Dr. Lucy Hobbs Taylor, the first American woman to earn a degree in dentistry in 1866, this project aims to bring women together from all areas of the dental industry. The project is free to join and offers networking opportunities, educational programs, and charitable events.
