Calif. dental benefits plans asked to give refunds
October 20, 2020 -- California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara has requested that California health insurance and specialized health insurance companies, including dental plans, provide their policyholders with a partial premium refund from the substantial profits accrued during the state's COVID-19 economic shutdown.
