Young Innovations acquires handpiece manufacturer

Dental supply manufacturer Young Innovations announced it has acquired Johnson-Promident.

Johnson-Promident is a manufacturer and supplier of handpieces, preventive consumables, infection control products, and rotary instruments. This is Young Innovations' 10th acquisition in four years, according to the company.

Young said that Gary Kris, Johnson-Promident's CEO, will serve in an advisory role. The transaction price was not disclosed.
