October 12, 2017 -- The Dental Board of California has announced an increase in dental license renewal fees, effective October 19, 2017.

It will now cost $650 to renew a dental license in California, a $125 increase from the previous fee of $525. Renewing a general anesthesia permit will also cost more, increasing to $325 from $200.

The fee increases are a result of a rulemaking action that was approved by the Office of Administrative Law, according to the dental board.

The full list of new fees is available on the dental board's website.
