April 30, 2015 -- ANAHEIM, CA - Convergent Dental is unveiling hollow waveguides for its Ultraguide Solea handpiece in three new sizes at the California Dental Association's 2015 CDA Presents meeting.

The new 8/400, 8/600, and 8/1200 hollow waveguides enable dentists to perform procedures in the periodontal pocket, in addition to the other hard- and soft-tissue procedures the dental laser can already execute. They are each 8-mm long and have 400-, 600-, and 1200-micron inner diameters, the company said.

"Solea has established itself as a versatile, efficiency-driving, revenue-generating tool that is critical to practitioners' success," said Michael Cataldo, CEO of Convergent Dental. "Our new hollow waveguides are another example of how we are committed to increasing value to our customers over time."
