Dental labs are shifting to these systems as more and more people show a preference for the natural results of all-ceramic restorations combined with the quick, customized turnaround of CAD/CAM systems. This shift will expand the dental CAD/CAM market by more than 30% in the next five years, according to the report.
"Because CAD/CAM systems provide rapid customized crowns and bridges for each individual, patients will pay a premium for them, which is supporting growth of this market segment," said Poonam Jassi, an analyst at Millennium Research Group, in a press release.
3M ESPE, Argen, Dentsply, Ivoclar Vivadent, Jensen, Nobel Biocare, Sirona, and Vita are among the companies mentioned in the report.
