Iluma is designed to provide radiographic imaging for sinus, skull base, head and neck, and temporal bone assessment, and produces 14-bit images and voxels as small as 0.09 mm thick. The system comes with software tools that enable users to automatically generate panoramic images, conduct measurements, and produce both surface- and volume- rendered images.
The scanner's small footprint is well-suited for siting in offices, according to the companies, and the system weighs 770 lb. It also integrates with GE's InstaTrack surgical navigation system.
