February 10, 2020 -- Dentistry continues to evolve, especially on the business side. To be successful in today's competitive environment, dentists will need to make improvements to their clinical services, technology, management protocols, and marketing systems. Team members also will need to be receptive when asked to work differently than in the past.
Raise your game. Continual improvement only takes place when there is some level of focus. Try to find three things that you will improve in your practice in the next 30 days. They can be little things or big things, but continual improvement is one of the major keys to long-term success.
Don't rule out exploring a new service. Many offices are increasing the revenue by adding one or more new services that allow the practice to offer more per patient. This is a powerful concept that often goes to the heart of continuing education, introducing the new service into the practice and offering a wider array of treatment for patients.
