Delta Dental of Calif. postpones fee reductions

April 7, 2021 -- Delta Dental of California has indefinitely postponed its proposed fee reductions that were scheduled to take effect on July 1 in the state, according to the California Dental Association (CDA).

Delta Dental announced its decision on April 5 after the CDA presented legal analysis, explaining why the reductions would be unlawful. Proposed reductions to the maximum allowable fees would have affected about 2,200 dental specialists in California.
