Colgate donates $1M to Penn dental center

March 2, 2020 -- Colgate-Palmolive has given Penn Dental Medicine $1 million to advance dental care for persons with disabilities.

Penn Dental Medicine plans to open a new 3,500-sq-ft care center on its campus for persons with disabilities. The new center will offer preventive and interceptive oral healthcare for people of all ages living with any type of disability.

Through its $1 million gift, Colgate intends to partner with researchers at Penn Dental Medicine to assess the dental needs of persons with disabilities and develop new products to facilitate care for this population.
