CDA cancels fall meeting in San Francisco

By DrBicuspid Staff

June 19, 2020 -- The California Dental Association (CDA) has canceled its continuing education convention, CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry, scheduled to take place September 10-12 in San Francisco, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

More than 20,000 dentists, dental team members, and dental students, as well as hundreds of exhibiting companies, attend CDA Presents each spring and fall. The CDA is creating learning and networking opportunities for dentists and their teams, including a virtual continuing education (CE) event with a virtual exhibit hall to be held this fall.

Details about the virtual event will be shared soon. For the canceled event, all booth fees will be refunded to exhibitors or credited to future CDA convention booths or virtual events. Exhibitors can choose how they would like booth fees to be refunded or credited, the CDA said. More information can be found at www.cda.org/covid19.
