3Shape acquires LMS provider LabStar

January 24, 2023 -- 3D scanner and CAD/CAM software manufacturer 3Shape has acquired lab management software (LMS) provider LabStar.

Staff from LabStar will be integrated into 3Shape. Pricing for LabStar LMS customers remains unchanged. No additional details about the acquisition were disclosed.

Currently, about 600 dental labs globally use LabStar's cloud-based LMS.
