VideaHealth's dental AI imaging technology gets patent

January 25, 2023 -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded a patent to VideaHealth for its dental artificial intelligence (AI) image recognition technology.

Patent No. 11,553,874 covers dental image feature detection powered by machine learning. The technology aims to help dentists detect dental diseases on x-rays and match those findings to patient records.

Currently, the company is working with Henry Schein One and dental service organization 42 North Dental to deploy the technology across the U.S.
