Cavaretta, who served as vice president of dental sales for the U.S. at Henry Schein for about two decades, succeeds the company's founder, David Lopez.

Lopez will serve as vision leader and board chairman, Dental Whale said.

As the head of Dental Whale, Cavaretta will continue to promote the company's products to private dentists and dental service organizations while also building upon new ideas.
