Create more value during the patient experience. In uncertain times, patients are looking at every dollar they spend. Concentrate on creating more value for your patients. Improve your customer service. Strive to exceed expectations during every patient interaction. Make sure your reception area is attractive, clean, and well-maintained. Provide amenities, such as water, coffee, and tea. It's amazing how much these seemingly little things can affect the patient experience.
Don't forget to hold annual spring and fall cleaning events. Closets and storage areas are magnets for discontinued products, outdated supplies, and broken equipment. By going through storage areas semiannually, practices can free up much-needed space, find lost or forgotten items, and help keep the office more organized.
