The tool collects relevant information and provides patients with clinically vetted recommendations on next-step actions, Awrel said.
Dental providers receive chatbot notifications via HIPAA-compliant text messaging and can then follow up by communicating with patients via phone or Awrel's HIPAA-compliant texting application, the company said. What's more, data exchanged via the Awrel chatbot and texting applications can also be transferred to the patient's dental record.
