Looking to schedule a large case but don't have an optimal slot? Have you considered booking your day off? While Dr. Roger P. Levin knows the idea may be controversial, he believes it's at least something to consider for boosting practice profitability.

"Large cases can be extremely profitable and they're not going to wait four months to get in with you," he said in the episode. "You don't want to start canceling patients all over the place to make room."

Levin stressed that treating a big case on a Friday doesn't have to be a stressful event. He advised just coming in with an assistant and letting the phones ring.

"You'd be done in a few hours," he said. "You have no other stressors, so you're not going to be as tired as a normal day."
