ADA offering free access to CDT app for students, residents

October 27, 2022 -- The ADA is providing every dental student and resident with free access to the Current Dental Terminology (CDT) 2023 app for the first time.

The app was created for iPhones, Androids, tablets, and desktop computers. It includes the following items:

  • The 2022 and 2023 codes and descriptors
  • All CDT codes organized by service category
  • International Classification of Diseases 10 Clinical Modification codes for dentistry
  • Approximately 250 question-and-answer and 180 coding scenarios, offering practical information to submit claims

To access the app, download it from the App Store or Google Play. Click Sign Up, and enter your name and email address. Users must use the email address that the ADA has on file.
