Garrison debuts anterior composite matrix system

By DrBicuspid.com staff writers

March 5, 2021 -- Garrison has debuted the Fusion anterior matrix system, a composite matrix system specifically designed for challenging anterior restorations.

Garrison designed the Fusion system with input from customers who used the metal posterior matrix bands in a unique way. The bands are thinner than traditional plastic strips and can be inserted through existing contacts for deeper restorations, the company noted. In addition, the wedge has a radical curvature to help the tooth anchor the wedge in place.

The new system includes two sizes of metal matrix bands and four sizes of wedges for restoring a variety of anterior lesion sizes. The starter kit includes 50 of each matrix band size and 25 of each wedge size.
