ADSO: Staff shortages, inflation are the new normal

October 14, 2022 -- HOUSTON - Staff shortages and inflation are top of mind, including for those at dental service organizations (DSOs). Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO) Executive Director Andrew Smith discussed how DSOs are responding to these trends at the ADA's 2022 SmileCon meeting in Houston.

Smith said labor shortages and inflation are going to be the new normal but that the organization is working with the ADA to combat these issues by building a pipeline of incoming dental professionals and tackling insurance reimbursement reforms.
